FEES & INSURANCE
The Beacon Centre's fees are based on recommendations set by our professional associations. Please check with your insurance company and EFAP programs to see if sessions are covered and if there are any requirements. For example, some insurance companies require a physician referral.
Forms of payment:
Clinicians at the Beacon Centre accept cash, debit, credit, cheque or email money transfer (EMT). Payment is due at the time of the session and a receipt will be issued for insurance and tax purposes. We do not offer direct billing at this time.

We also accept referrals through Veterans Affairs Canada, Canadian Armed Forces, and Interim Federal Health Programs.
Initial Consultation* (60 min) | $210 |
Independent Medical Evaluations | $3,500 to $5,500 |
Neuropsychological Assessment** | $3,500 to $4,000 |
Psychological Assessment*** | $1,400 to $4,000, average price $2,500 |
*Consultations are used to determine eligibility or need for further psychological assessment, as well as which fee structure will be used for further assessment. Should you continue with a psychological assessment, then this cost is deducted from the total cost.
**Neuropsychological assessment fees may change based on a variety of factors, including the purpose of the assessment and the complexity or depth required in the report. Your psychologist will review this with you during the initial consultation time.
***Fees for psychological assessment will range based on a variety of factors, including: nature of
concern(s) being assessed, assessment measures required, need for file review, and depth required in
the report. The average fee for psychological assessment is $2500. Your psychologist will review fee
structure during the initial consultation time.

Cancellation
Therapy: 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. Less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee will apply.
Assessment: Cancellations require 48 hours notice and no shows will be subject to a 30% charge of the full cost of the assessment (this is for the full assessment only - not the initial consultation, which would be charged same as therapy cancellations).
